Bayern Munich are still insisting that Robert Lewandowski will honour his contract and remain in the team until June 30, 2023 but Lewandowski feels differently as he wants to leave the club.
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is determined to keep the Polish forward in the club this summer. He even went as far as paying him a visit while on holiday in Mallorca. However his attempts to persuade Lewandowski to stay was not impacted in any ways Lewandowski is still keen on leaving Bayern Munich this summer.
Lewandowski has expressed clearly that he wants to leave and face new challenges and challengers. Ever since joining Bayern Munich in 2014 from Dortmund he has scored 344 goals in 344 appearances. With 238 of them in Bundesliga and 69 in the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona are the most heavily linked team, alongside premier league team Chelsea as they are about to lose Romelu Lukaku to Italian side Inter Milan. Bayern Munich are demanding for €50m for Robert Lewandowski while Barcelona are willing to pay €40m for the Polish Striker.
