Barcelona Set Their Sights On Shockingly Signing 28 Year Old Chelsea Striker

Barcelona’s search for a striker continues this summer as they have shifted their attention to Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku hasn’t really had a good spell in Chelsea. The Belgian striker has only netted 28 times since he joined Chelsea whereas he has played 67 games.

Barcelona would consider Lukaku as an option if signing Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland deal don’t work. Barcelona have admitted that signing Erling Haaland won’t be much easy considering how cheap Robert Lewandowski is and the kind of calibre of player he is.

Lukaku has declared openly that he is not happy at Chelsea and he is not comfortable with Chelsea current manager Thomas Tuchel. Romelu Lukaku isn’t in Chelsea’s current starting lineup. He is usually replaced by Kai Harvetz.

Romelu Lukaku still has three years left in his contract and is earning €19m a year. It will cost Barcelona €85m pounds to sign him which is way more expensive than signing Robert Lewandowski who costs €40m pounds.
