AOC fighting to hide a criminal record

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her congressional campaign were facing scrutiny over allegations that they violated campaign finance law and all of a sudden everyone in quiet about it.

Ocasio-Cortez’s relationship with Justice Democrats became the subject of intense scrutiny in 2019, resulting in two complaints submitted to the FEC.

Why is it so difficult for the house democrats to follow up a case and prosecute the offender???

In an FEC complaint, a conservative group alleged that ‘Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez team funneled PAC money through a corporation to evade campaign finance laws.

Her political rise in 2018 was made possible in large part to Justice Democrats PAC, an outside political action committee that recruited her to enter politics in 2017 and provided much of her campaign’s staffing and overhead needs in the lead-up to her June 2018 primary victory.

Ocasio-Cortez and her former campaign chair Saikat, were appointed to hold two of the PAC’s three board seats in December 2017, but the Federal Election Commission was never notified of the affiliation between her campaign and Justice Democrats.

The FEC was investigating the complaints filed against Ocasio-Cortez and Justice Democrats and just like every other cases relating to the democrats, the investigation went silent.

She had previously confirmed that she’s been in conversation with the FEC, saying that she was “in total compliance” and dismissing the complaints as “a form of legal trolling” from “fringe, Republican groups.”

Meanwhile, Most election experts says there’s no evidence that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez committed any serious campaign finance violations but they may be cause for further investigation.

So what had happened to the further investigation?

Is she likely to face civil or criminal penalties for failing to disclose her campaign’s affiliation to the outside PAC?

Or its just another democrats getting away with it after years of failed investigations??

Let’s know what you think in the comment section.
