1. You will become friends with people.

It can be hard to go to a new place and not know who you’ll be spending your time with. We’ve discovered that Americans are extremely warm and inviting, and they value their liberty. Isn’t that why you’re thinking of traveling in the first place?

If you’ve been to America, you’ll understand what we’re talking about. There’s only one way to find out if you haven’t. Your days at camp will be jam-packed with activities, and you’ll meet new people from all over the world. They’ll immediately become longtime friends, and your summer working in America will be one you never forget.

2 You will discover many new places and stuff.

America is a massive country with a diverse population from north to south and east to west. Any type of landscape can be found – enormous cities, mountains, beaches, canyons, deserts, woods, and so forth. We’ve had some fantastic adventures in America, and no two persons in our team have had the same experience.

Whatever you are looking for, you will find in the United States. So if the question isn’t “Why do you want to go to the United States?” Perhaps the true question is, “Why Would You Want to Work For US?”

3. It is a country built for comfort.

Because America is so vast, you may need to rent a car for your ultimate road trip. Fortunately, everything else is as simple as it gets. Most stores are open on Sundays and most days until late in the evening. We prefer convenience. Drive-thru restaurants, pharmacies, and even banks make your list of errands a whole lot easier and more interesting.

4. You’ll meet people from all over the world.

America is one of the world’s most diversified countries (after all, it is a country of opportunity). It’s also a good idea to go somewhere where everyone speaks the same language as you, especially if this is your first large trip. When we went to America, many of us were between the ages of 18 and 20, and we felt it to be an excellent way to begin exploring the globe on our own. Navigating visas, airports, and finding hotels and food on your own in a new country can be daunting, especially if you’re not used to it.

6. Add your experience working in America to your CV.

Do you think companies would prefer someone who remains at home and works to someone who embraces adventure? Consider again. Employers prefer experience and skill above nearly everything else, and working overseas in America will provide you with enough of both.

You’ll be in charge of a group of kids at camp, which may be a lot of work – but also a terrific opportunity to prove yourself.

Rather than taking a two-week holiday, why not spend the summer in America, working a summer job, and embracing your self-development and growth? That’s a big part of what distinguishes Camp Leaders: we don’t merely bring individuals from other countries to camp in America for one final enjoyable summer before the real world begins.

You are provided with a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your abilities as a competent, devoted, hardworking adult who takes responsibility for yourself and others – and we provide you with the ideal setting in which to do so in the most enjoyable way imaginable. If that doesn’t make your resume stand out, we don’t know what will.

Call in and ask one of our staff members whether this is how they found their Camp Leaders experience – after all, this piece was inspired by them.

6. Visit the culture of independence and freedom.

There’s a reason why America is the most easily recognized country in the world. America is at the top of almost everyone’s list of places to visit, and it’s not only because of the beautiful weather and renowned sights.

It’s because of something difficult to articulate, something that distinguishes America from practically every other country in the world – something that characterizes the culture itself. We all recognize America from TV shows and movies, but working in the United States will teach you that it is so much more.

Americans are fiercely independent and driven to distinguish themselves. In America, there is a spirit of individualism that has given rise to so much of what defines our society today – the internet, the iPhone, and Amazon.com, to mention a few.

For better or worse, America has been a defining country on the globe because of its individuals’ unique achievements. We’re not sure if their success is contagious, but there’s only one way to find out.

7. Healthy Food Experience

In terms of individual accomplishments, America also leads the way. Sure, they can’t claim to have invented a meal as iconic as Neopolitan pizza from Italy (unless we count the McDonald’s hamburger).

Even so, America’s contribution to the great world of cuisine may exceed any other. America has taken meals from hundreds of various civilizations and expanded, improved, and (perhaps) perfected them.

American cuisine is a cuisine unto itself. Deep dish pizza in Chicago, doughnuts and a cup of coffee in New York, and fresh fish tacos in New Mexico.

Five Guys, Cold Stone Creamery, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, and In-and-Out Burger. Have you never heard of them? Who are we kidding, you’ve done it. Food is a big reason why people come to work in America.

It’s a good thing we saved food for last in this essay – we’ll get to it quickly because we’re becoming hungry.

America is a chance to do something different.

We live on a planet full of fascinating, beautiful, and diverse civilizations worth discovering, experiencing, and comprehending. If there is only one place to begin, America may be it. If there is one place you should not miss, this is it.

It’s a place unlike any other in the world, and we could give you a rationale for each of the 50 states. Instead, we’ll just say this: you’ll never regret spending a week or the entire summer in America. You will obtain a lot of experience, education, amazing memories, self-development, and other benefits.

Take it from us: there is no better way to explore a new place than to work and travel. There is no better place in the world to work and travel over the summer than the United States of America. We could tell you all about our experiences in the United States (and we will if you call), but your experience will be unique to you. You’ll be having the time of your life, and most of us wish we could be in your shoes. Have a fantastic summer; you won’t forget it.
